Research suggests that youth participation in extracurricular activities changes over time, based on a number of factors including developmental factors. As a result, SKJAJA differentiates funding guidelines based on research findings across the K-12 spectrum.
For reference, SKJAJA typically funds students for one semester at a time, or one "block" of classes, in order to allow the students to explore new activities and uncover their passions.
If you have any questions, or believe you have a student whose situation is unique, please contact us at: application@SKJAJAfund.org.
